William (Bill) Hample

My Name is William Hample. I have been in the field of Substance Use Disorders since 1988. I am a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of New Jersey and a Certified Recovery Specialist Instructor (for Pennsylvania). I am a retired Probation Officer for the State of New Jersey. I spent 19 years working with New Jersey’s Drug Court Program (now known as Recovery Court) and 6 years with the Camden County Mental Health Unit. I am an instructor for Probation/ Parole officers in Substance Use Disorders on the state level. I have been an instructor for Rutgers University Summer School of Addiction Studies. I am a faculty member and program coordinator for Villanova University and their continuing Addictions Studies education. I have also been a faculty member of National Association for The Drug Court Institute. I am an ordained minister. I am a certified and active chaplain with Gloucester Township Police Department. I am currently a therapist for a private practice as well as an outpatient Substance Use Disorder program. I conduct group therapy and psycho-educational groups.
